中德经贸投资关系的分析与展望

Abstract:With tension in the Sino-US economic and trade friction increasing，Europe is gaining more importance as the most preferred destination for overseas Chinese investment. After more than two years of thorough going discussion，a new definition for characterizing the Sino-German relationship was coined：“cooperation partner” and “systemic competitor”. The German government is rethinking its traditional value-oriented China policy of “change through trade” and is currently taking a more interest-focused approach based on competition and pragmatic diplomacy. Facing this changing situation，Chinese companies，that have significantly improved their international competitiveness in recent years，see no reason to climb down. They will make use of international competitiveness as a driving force in their internal process towards innovative improvement.
