Abstract:The international financial crisis,after its outbreak,soon spread all over the world.Both China and Germany could not escape the storm.What the two countries suffered during the economic crisis was not only different from other countries but was also different between themselves.As a result,certain measures adopted by the two countries were similar while other measures were different.Fortunately,both became aware that cuddling together is the best way to keep warm in the severe winter.To this end,Germany iterated that Tibet is an inalienable part of China.And China decided to put aside old grievances and to intensify economic cooperation with Germany.China and Germany collaborated with each other by adopting a series of measures,enhancing high-level visits,forming strategic partnership,and reinforcing consultation and coordination regarding measures and principles that are aimed at dealing with crisis.These measures served to promote further economic and trade cooperation as well as enlarge trade scope,allowing Sino-German economic ties to grow into a higher level against the backdrop of international financial crisis.Although there are still many issues existing in economic and trade relations between China and Germany,the two countries have worked out a successful model for cooperation between emerging economies and developed ones.
