Abstract:Since 2016，the Australian economy has continued to grow，but the economic downturn has increased. Price downturn has eased while employment and income have improved slowly. The sharp increase in exports has reversed the deficit，but the international direct investment inflows and outflows have been lack of growth momentum. The fiscal deficit has declined and public debt has continued to rise. Financial markets have improved and risks have been controllable. The in-depth development of Sino-Australian economic relations has had a positive impact on the Australian economy. In 2018，the positive factors supporting Australia’s economic growth will not change significantly，and its economic growth will rise slightly from 2017 and maintain a growth rate of around 2.5%.
