2020年中国移民在美国的空间扩展：中国文化的传播和软实力的提升

Abstract:Using data from our own survey in New York City as well as data from the U.S. Census Bureau，we analyze patterns and reasons of recent spatial diffusion of low-skilled Chinese immigrants in the United States. In particular，we pay attention to how this spatial diffusion can promote diffusion of Chinese culture and China’s soft power. Although China’s “hard power” has moved to a new level，China still has a long way to go to improve its “soft power.” Improving soft power has the potential to promote trust and reduce “perceived threat” of China’s development and help realizing next stage of globalization.
