Abstract:Since Turnbull became Prime Minister of Australia in 2015，the government has introduced a series of trade policies aimed at promoting export-driven employment，including domestic export promotion policies and internationally signing bilateral or multilateral trade agreements with all parties. Under the three-year efforts of the Turnbull government，Australia has achieved its first trade surplus in recent years. The free trade policy has brought tangible economic benefits to Australia，but the Australian economy still faces long-term structural problems and short-term uncertainties that have a more or less impact on both Australia and China. In August 2018，when Australia's new Prime Minister Morrison came to power，it is still unclear whether he can inject new vitality into Australia's economy and trade in today's complex international trade situation.
