Abstract:China’s securities industry maintained healthy and rapid development in 2016. China’s securities regulatory work carried out smoothly around some important aspects，such as formation of the financing function，basic system，market supervision，the legitimate rights and interests of investors. At the same time，the regulatory concept of supervision has undergone some changes，the president of China Securities Regulatory Commission Liu Shiyu put forward the “supervision according to law，comprehensive supervision，strict supervision.” And stock market and futures market returned to normal，the bond market liquidity risk had been effectively controlled. In 2017，the securities regulatory work will be carried out around a number of key areas，such as enhancing risk response capacity，promoting multi-level equity market construction，strengthening the supervision of listed companies，strengthening the supervision of securities industry operators，strengthening investor protection.
