Abstract:Electric industry is not only an important basic industry and public utilities in modern society，but also is a crucialcompositionin energy industry，which is closely linked with economic growth. In 2013，the world economy grew up at 2.1%. The European Union countries，the United States，Japan and some other developed countries remained mired in recession still. China’s economic growth has remained relatively stable on the other hand，and Brazil and other emerging economies such as India and Russia had different performance. Under the influence of macroeconomic environment，the global electric power demand has shown the stability with a slow speeding trend in the total production and consumption. To be specific，a small decline of production and consumption in developed countries while the power consumption of emerging economies became important parts in production and consumption. Take China for example，the total electric power supply and demand recovered and stabilized gradually. Investments of the clean energy were increasing，and the nuclear power industry developed steadily too. The PV industry also went toward a recovery. Transnational power grid construction would facilitate the growth of international power trade. However the global electric power merger situation was not optimistic.
