2019年上海与发达经济体共建“一带一路”新伙伴

Abstract:Despite the limited absolute number，developed economies’ participation in Belt and Road Initiative is critical in the quality and contribution. During the course of Shanghai’s participation in Belt and Road Initiative，the relation between Shanghai and Developed countries has a special asymmetric advantage. With the focus on this type of advantage，the report evaluates the background，contemporary situation and future prospect of the cooperation between Shanghai and Developed economies. The major findings of the report are that developed economies are becoming essential component of BRI development and Shanghai has favorable historical advantage and present foundation to cooperate with developed economies due to its economic structure and developmental foundation. In the future，Shanghai should strengthen its cooperation with developed economies in BRI and makes developed economies new parties for BRI initiative.
