奥地利穆斯林移民管理分析

Abstract:Austria is the first European country to recognize the legal status of Islam. With an influx of Muslim immigrants，especially Muslim refugees，the country has made groundbreaking efforts in the legislation，management of social organizations and religious education among the Islamic community. Despite the fact that they do not have equal access to social resources as indigenous citizens，Muslim immigrants show high levels of satisfaction in their life in Austria，and most present a strong will to integrate into the local culture. The major obstacle to their integration comes from an extensive Islamophobia and a lack of attention directed to the diversity of the Islamic group. The key to the governance of Muslim immigration is to strike a balance between preventing “political Islam” and protecting Muslims’ rights.
