Abstract:In 2019，the European Union officially launched a new Central Asia strategy. This strategy will replace the past new partnership strategy as a guiding document for the future EU-Central Asian relations. Thanks to the launch of this strategy，the exchanges and interactions between the EU and Central Asian countries in 2019 have been very frequent. The cooperation between the two sides in many fields，such as political，economic and environmental areas has also been proceeded smoothly. But in terms of the new Central Asia strategy of EU，the praise and criticism go hand in hand. The effect of this strategy on the future EU-Central Asian relations remains to be seen.
