Abstract:Central Asia has always been regarded by India as an extended neighbour.The greatest significance of Central Asia for India results from security.India's security concerns in Central Asia can be viewed from three levels：geopolitical security，non-traditional security，energy and resource security.To guarantee India's security in Central Asia，India has taken its full advantage and tried maximize its security benefits.But due to the reality，there is a certain degree of gap between the expectation and the reality.Anyway，India's security concerns in Central Asia will bring a new path and prospect for India's relation with Central Asia.
