Abstract:This report covers the latest developments in the British media industry，from book publishing，newspaper and magazines，broadcasting，to web，advertising and regulation. During this period，a highlight of the British media industry development is the fact that media integration has become a norm，with networked mobile terminals being the most used devices for receiving and disseminating contents，which is still a continuing trend. Premium content is still regarded as the core value of media production. Principles of media ethics，such as accuracy and precision，have always been taken as the central issues in We-Media as well as professional media. The other significant incident is the empowerment of Ofcom，the British government independent regulator in telecommunications and media sectors，to strengthen its supervision of BBC since the beginning of March 2017.
