Multi-party system legislation was passed and the government established the Ministry of Public Utilities. Some senior officials were changed. Official figures indicate a strong performance on economy. The government made a series of plans for social and economic development. Turkmenistan maintains perpetual neutral status in the field of foreign policy. Sino-Turkmenistan relations develops rapidly in the past year. Turkmenistan pursued equidistant diplomacy to Russia and USA and attaches importance to cooperation with its neighboring countries.
