中亚国家外部形势变化与外交调整

Abstract:Through reviewing the change in external environment Central Asia is facing and adjustment of their foreign policies in 2011, this paper points out Central Asian countries' foreign policies are characteristics of diversity and stability in long-term and uncertain in short-term. The major reason is that as the small countries, Central Asian countries take the comparatively weak position in international relations and are more easily influenced by the great powers. When deciding foreign policies, Central Asian countries more prefer to pursue the short-term interests maximum rather than the long-term goals. In 2012, under influnce of external change, it will be more difficult for Central Asian countries to make foreign policies decision and each country will have its own features.
