巴西消费者保护法发展历程：2015年的里程碑

Abstract:Consumers become an important power in pushing economic recovery in developed countries and expanding domestic demands of developing countries.Consumers should be not only passive recipients in global markets but also active participants of as well as contributors to fair global governance. As a member of the BRICS and the biggest emerging economy in the southern hemisphere，Brazil has obtained remarkable achievements in the area of consumer protection by establishing one of the most advanced legal systems in the world. The country has turn out to be a key participant and an initiator in defending consumer rights in the international scenario. The study summarizes the lessons and achievements of Brazil during the 25 years since it passed the Consumer Code and reports some of its new developments in the year of 2015.
