Abstract:The political situation in Kyrgyzstan has been unstable since the latter half of 2012. The opposition factions continued to put pressure on the government through street fight，and the government responded forcefully by arresting leaders of the opposition parties. Economic growth resumed，and the 2013-2017 national stable development strategy was pushed forward，but it is still hard for the country to step out of the predicament. Affected by the situation of Syria and Afghanistan，Kyrgyzstan is faced with more security challenges. The government had no choice but tilt to Russia for economic and security assistance.
