土叙严重地震灾害对中东地区的影响

Abstract:On February 6，2023，two deadly earthquakes struck Turkey’s southern provinces and northwest Syria. The severe earthquake caused great casualties and property losses in Turkey and Syria，and also generated combined effects to the two countries’ politics，economy，society and security situation，which brought challenges to safety and stability of the Middle East. On the other hand，the major regional countries provided assistance to Turkey and Syria positively after the earthquake，which has further promoted the reconcilation wave of the Middle East. Today’s world is experiencing a great change that has not happened in a century，human civilization comes to a crossroad. Facing complex international security situation，international society should deepen cooperation and work together more closely to deal with significant security challenges such as severe earthquake and other global security issues.
