Abstract:From 2020 to 2021，the Lourenço government continued to promote domestic political governance. Although it faces challenges such as serious corruption，the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on economic and social life，and fierce political wrangling of opposition parties，the political situation in Angola maintained generally stable. In the economic field，the growth of the national economy continued to be sluggish，the government’s financial difficulties were difficult to solve，and the external debt pressure was huge. In terms of external relations，Angola attaches great importance to international cooperation，promotes economic diplomacy，actively participates in regional affairs，and strives to increase its influence in international and regional affairs. In the context of the continuous spread of the pandemic of COVID-19，China and Angola have worked hard to promote bilateral cooperation in political，economic and other fields，and joined hands to fight the pandemic，further deepening the bilateral friendly relationship.
