Abstract:Since 2018-2021，the world’s tea industry science and technology has made significant progress，among which，tea plant genetic breeding technology，tea cultivation technology，tea processing technology，tea deep processing technology and other outstanding performance，which is conducive to helping the development of the global tea industry. Looking forward to the future development trend of tea industry science and technology will show three trends：first，tea production technology tends to be green，labor-saving，and informatized；second，tea processing technology tends to be intelligent，labor-saving，and energy-saving；third，tea products tend to be distinctive，functional，and convenient. At the same time，the new technology of tea intermediate extraction has also made new breakthroughs in creating multi-functional extraction production lines，developing functionalized products for new purposes，and focusing on new needs to produce cutting-edge products.
