2020年广东推进粤港澳大湾区建设报告

Abstract:Guangdong succeeded in 2020 in mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic by overcoming internal and external difficulties and pooling strengths across the nation and has made headway in developing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area with Hong Kong and Macau. The development of the world-class city cluster in the Greater Bay Area is gaining momentum. Science and technology innovation capacity is building up. New breakthroughs have been made in modernizing infrastructure and enhancing infrastructure connectivity. The modern industrial system with international competitiveness is being improved. The development of a quality life area where people can live and work happily and travel conveniently is accelerated. Comprehensive opening-up is promoted at a higher level. Guangdong，however，is also facing some difficulties and challenges in developing the Greater Bay Area. In the future，the province should actively explore new ways of thinking and methods for enhancing science and technology innovation，improving infrastructure，creating more growth drivers for industrial development，promoting joint development and joint governance for shared benefits and aligning with laws and standards，for building the Greater Bay Area into a world-class city cluster and bay area.
