Abstract:The year 2020 will be the year of regional development，digitization and funding for children in Kyrgyzstan. The COVID-19 epidemic which has spread rapidly since the beginning of this year has brought serious impact to the development of various fields in Kyrgyzstan. Politically，after the high level power struggle in 2019，a new round of political turmoil triggered by parliamentary elections was ushered in 2020. In terms of economy，affected by the restrictive measures of epidemic prevention and isolation and other factors，the economic situation of Kyrgyzstan is grim，which is likely to cause economic crisis. In foreign affairs，under the background of political turmoil，the acting president of Kyrgyzstan announced that it would maintain the continuity and stability of its existing foreign policy，and the priority direction would not change. In terms of social and security，the epidemic has led to a rising unemployment rate，the prevalence of nationalism and the aggravation of non-traditional security threats. It is estimated that in 2021，Kyrgyzstan will still be unable to get rid of the negative impact of political turmoil and epidemic in the short term. The task of maintaining social stability and restoring economic growth is very arduous.
