2020年从睦邻友好、互信合作走向命运共同体——中国中亚外交30年回顾展望

Abstract:After the collapse of the Soviet Union，China’s foreign policy made rapid adjustments. In addition to recognizing the independence of the five Central Asian countries and establishing formal diplomatic relations for the first time，equal and mutually beneficial consultation and cooperation in security，economy，culture and other important fields were gradually carried out according to the common needs of all parties in different periods. As an important part of China’s peripheral diplomacy，China’s foreign policy towards Central Asia in the past 30 years is not only a process of adjustment with the changes of regional and global situations，but also a process of continuous development and deepening driven by the needs of all parties. Reviewing and summarizing the changes in China’s foreign policy toward Central Asian countries in this historical period will undoubtedly benefit the formation of a more stable and constructive national relationship in this important area in the future.
