Abstract:In 2013，influenced by combined domestic and foreign factors，China’s securities market performed poor，compared with the world’s major securities markets. Moreover，the suspension of IPO and the loss of financing function put the market into a dilemma of being marginalized. Since the new chairman of the CSRC took office，the concepts and ideas of securities regulation have been greatly changed. The CSRC strengthened power decentralization and transformed the regulatory functions，promoted market reform and innovation，and made the core of securities regulation gradually changed from prior approval to regulation and law enforcement during and after the event. For securities regulation，it can be said that 2013 is the year of clarifying ideas，laying solid foundation and well preparing. It’s expected to the great development of the securities market in 2014.
