Abstract:Since the breakout of the International Financial Crisis in 2008, the world economy has been seeking for its stability and growth. However, other negative events, such as the European Debt Crisis, have slowed down the process of recovery and the economies worldwide are still suffering. The major economic indicators reveal that African economy has improved significantly while enduring the shocks of the International Financial Crisis and other negative events. Considering the fact that growth of African economy still rests on exogenous conditions, the medium and long-term development of African economy should turn to its own inner driving forces while continuously expanding its foreign economic cooperation. In terms of the development of Sino-African relations, in overcoming the difficulties in cooperation and finding out new opportunities for cooperation, it is of great significance to explore to strengthen cooperation between China and Africa in the context of the on-going international financial crisis.
