Abstract:Based on the orientation of China-Africa relations in China's diplomatic and development strategy, judging the internal and external environment of China-Africa cooperation, the second decade of the 21st century should still be the strategic opportunity for the development of China-Africa relations. First, China should make full use of and grasp the opportunity while the Western powers are too busy to take care of Africa. China should further strengthen its work in Africa, strengthen the political trust between China and Africa and deepen its economic and trade cooperation with Africa, so as to consolidate the foundation of China-Africa relations and make Africa an important factor in benefiting China in dealing with its relations with the big powers; Second, China should design its strategy meticulously and develop African resources and markets actively so that Africa could be the strategic pivot for the sustainable economic development of China; Third, In accordance with the outline of the 12th five-year-plan, China should make Africa an important cooperative region for the Chinese economy to transform its development mode, to upgrade and transfer its industries, and develop its service trade; Fourth, China should take full advantage of its regime system and strengthen the internal communication and cooperation so as to ensure collaborative and balanced development in all areas of China-Africa relations; Fifth, China should take feasible measures to fully take care of the concerned interests of African countries so as to ensure the sustainable and healthy development of China-Africa relations; Sixth, China should properly deal with the relations with other big powers in Africa so as to sustain a good interaction between China-Africa cooperation and the international system, and to foster a good international environment for the Chinese economy to enter Africa steadily, safely and efficiently.
