Abstract:Slovak Sinologist Galik new book From Goethe，Nietzsche to Rilke：Studies In Sino-German Interliterary Process （2017）makes an in-depth study of German literature's translation，acceptance，and influence in modern China from the perspective of“Interliterariness”of comparative literature.The book includes three parts：“On Goethe and China”，“On Nietzsche and China”，and“On Rilke and China and others”.It covers Sino-German cultural misreading in the translation process，the image of“Eternal Feminine”from the perspective of structural semiotics，and melancholy themes in Chinese and Western literature.This book has a broad vision of research，abundant materials and flexible research methods.It explicitly presents the theoretical paradigm and research features of the Sinology of Prague.It is the crystallization of a series of achievements made by Sinologist Marian Galik in the past 40 years on Sino-German and Sino-Czech cross-cultural Communication.
