Abstract:Japanese Foreign Direct Investment（FDI）in developing countries is mainly contributed by general trading company and large enterprises based on ODA，which aims to improve local infrastructure. Among the countries along the “Belt and Road”，Southeast Asia has always been the major focus of aid and investment for Japan，while countries in Western Asia and middle East are Japan’s largest energy suppliers，and South Asia is becoming Japan’s most important export area of infrastructure. The competition and complementary relations between China and Japan coexist in the field of infrastructure and industrial investment in the countries.
