Abstract:After Cyprus on May 1，2004 formally joined the EU，its government agency was adjusted accordingly，each party formed the consensus of support for the government to join the EU and paid close attention to the problem of EU concerned，take an active part in the EU’s activities，and the woman’s suffragist rates had unprecedented increase. Cyprus government adjusted its national economic system and joined the EURO，and the EU became as Cyprus’s main trading partner. After joined the EU，Cyprus retreated from the Non-Aligned Movement and carry out EU’s foreign policy，the relations with Greece have also changed. The links between “TRNC” and EU established，Turks of Cyprus became the EU citizen，but the identity limited by many facts，the United States also adjusted its policy to “TRNC”. Mediated by the United Nations，Greek and Turkish Cypriots both showed desire peace talks，but they were all lack of sincerity. In the long run，Cyprus joined the EU will be beneficial to the unification of Cyprus.
