海洋社会变迁与海洋强国建设研讨会暨第四届中国海洋社会学论坛综述

Abstract:On the 2013 annual conference of Chinese Sociological Association in Guiyang，（preparing） Professional Committee of Ocean Sociology of Chinese Sociological Association，Ocean University of China and Shanghai Ocean University hosted the Fourth China Ocean Sociology Forum with the theme：Ocean Social Change and Marine Power Constructions. The seminar focused on four fields：sea power and maritime power，ocean sociological research and ocean mentality，ocean social management and development，ocean culture and social development. Topics such as，sea power and social development，ocean environmental change and society，ocean public resources protection，ocean resources development and utilization，ocean sociological theories constructions，Diaoyu Islands dispute，cultural industry development in Yangtze River Delta，oil exploitation in South China Sea，innovation in ocean social management mode，fishermen’s income increase，ocean education and mentality cultivation，urban-rural integration in islands，contemporary Chinese sea power，were extensively and deeply discussed，with both theoretical and empirical researches and macro-meso-micro level approaches. The forum shows that after about ten years brewing and development：the research objects and methods of Chinese ocean sociology have been increasingly cleared；a team of promising researchers and scholars has become formed；researches have also won increasingly widespread awareness. The Fourth China Ocean Sociology Forum was awarded the “Excellent Forum” on the 2013 Annual Conference of the Chinese Sociological Association.
