中国与东盟主要国家双边贸易发展趋势分析

Abstract:In this paper，we analyze the trend and characteristics of China and ASEAN’s countries’ commodity trade. We measure the bilateral trade competition and complementarity by using trade dependence index，RCA and trade complementarity index. The results indicate that there are some differences between China and different ASEAN countries，but most of the bilateral trade dependence in recent years show increase trend. Mineral products and mechanical and electrical products are the main goods that Malaysia exports to China. Whereas Indonesia’s main export goods to China are mineral products，animal and vegetable fats and oils and other types of raw materials. Thailand has the same export goods categories as Indonesia. Philippines’s trade deficit with China has increased significantly. The types of goods exported to China by Singapore are relatively concentrated and the highest proportion is mechanical and electrical products. On the good basis of ASEAN-China FTA，China’ Belt and Road initiative will provide much more cooperative development space.
