Abstract:After the Polish PM Tusk was chosen as President of the European Council，its parliamentary speaker Ewa Kopacz was nominated by President Komorowski as the new PM. The largest opposition party PiS gained more support in the 2014 EU Parliament election in Poland. Poland’s overall economic performance in 2014 was generally satisfactory. The government adopted a range of legislations on energy. Poland’s relationships with Ukraine，Russia and U.S. respectively became a focus in its foreign policies in the year of 2014. Due to its historical and geopolitical concerns over Ukraine，Poland was actively involved in mediating in the Ukraine crisis and attached more attention to its coordination with the U.S. The year 2014 is the 65 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and China. China-Poland bilateral ties have gradually been deepened and the level of cooperation improved.
