广州外向型经济发展研究

Abstract:Since the reform and opening-up began，the export-oriented economy of Guangzhou boomed rapidly. Foreign trade and utilization of foreign capital both grew sustainably. However，compared with other similar domestic cities，there exists many deficiencies in the development of Guangzhou export-oriented economy，unmatched with Guangzhou’s image of national central city and gateway city. It has been found that the development of export-oriented economy，using the external market and resources，causes great impact on the regional economic development. Based on related index of correlation since 2001，the paper analyzes the characteristics，deficiencies and motive force of the export-oriented economy development of Guangzhou，and puts out several countermeasures correspondingly.
