Abstract:To examine America's response to Syria crisis,the departure point is to understand the impacts on U.S.interests of the crisis.In terms of the implications for U.S.interests of Syria crisis,U.S.policy community has carried out careful and substantial assessments and has arrived at some consensus,which has become the foundation on which the Obama administration has taken some policy measures to deal with the situation in Syria.These measures to some extent have embodied the U.S.foreign strategy,especially the U.S.strategy towards the Middle East,in recent years.In its second term,when coping with the impasse in Syria,the Obama administration would have a more flexible and practical policy orientation.
