Abstract:As a result of the nearly 10-year reforms and constitutionalisation，the Treaty of Lisbon has laid down a new foundation for furthering the European integration. This report analyses the impacts of the Treaty of Lisbon on the EU’s future from the perspectives of politics，economy，external relations and science and technology. In general，the Treaty has essentially achieved the objectives defined by the Laeken Declaration，having provided a stable framework of the institutions and mechanisms for the near future of the European Union，from which the European integration will be greatly benefited. However，the Treaty itself has not solved all the issues fundamental to the European integration process and it still remains unanswered what will be the final destination of the European integration.
