亚太经济合作组织：回顾与展望

Abstract:China is the host country of the 2014 APEC meeting，the theme of which is “Shaping the Future through an Asian-Pacific Partnership.” This year China held a series of APEC activities，including a Senior Officials Meeting，a Ministerial Meeting，and the 22nd APEC Economic Leaders Meeting （AELM）. Since its inception in 1989，APEC has developed into the highest level and most comprehensive multilateral economic cooperation organization in the region. The Chinese government attaches great importance to APEC，regarding this organization as a critical multilateral stage for China’s regional and global diplomacy. Although APEC has made remarkable achievements，there is still a long way to go，with many difficulties and uncertainties ahead，before economic integration will be achieved in the Asian and Pacific region.
