Abstract:In recent years,the relationship between China and Afghanistan has been close. In 2014,the two countries established a comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship. In 2018,the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding on the joint construction of the “Belt and Road”. Against this background,Chinese language teaching in Algeria has been stagnant for a long time. At present,only some teaching sites have been set up in the language centers of some universities. In order to further expand the scale of Chinese teaching in Algeria,this paper firstly uses the “document retrieval method” to understand the relevant background information of Chinese teaching in Algeria. Secondly,through the “qualitative analysis method”,it introduces the cooperation mode of Chinese language teaching in Algeria and its advantages and disadvantages. Learn about the basic situation of the language centers of Algerian universities through the “web search method”. Through the “interview method” to understand the current situation of Chinese teachers in Algeria,as well as the basic situation of each Chinese teaching site. Through the “case study method”,we focus on discussing the problems and possible countermeasures in the Chinese teaching site of the First University of Oran where the author works. Finally,some opinions and suggestions are put forward on the development path of Chinese language teaching in Algeria through the “webpage retrieval method” and “document retrieval method” combined with the development strategies of language teaching in Algeria in different countries and the development experience of Confucius Institutes in my country.
