Abstract:As an important part of the national economy，non-ferrous metal industry has strategic significance in the world’s economic development. With the “double carbon” target in China，as an important main body of carbon emissions，non-ferrous metal industry energy conservation and emissions reduction not only can improve market competitiveness and influence，but also meet the strategy needs of national overall green development. This report analyzes the opportunities and challenges of green construction in China’s nonferrous metals industry from the aspects of green construction status，industry data analysis，green and low-carbon technologies and engineering practical cases，as well as the problems and development trends faced by China’s nonferrous metals industry. This report points out that，China’s nonferrous metals industry should adhere to the system concept and continuously optimize the industrial structure；to strengthen source management and build a green development system；Based on technological innovation，accelerate the progress of energy conservation and carbon reduction technology；Enrich the energy structure and accelerate the digital transformation of industries.
