Abstract:Since African countries gained independence，the issue of peace and security has always been the biggest obstacle restricting the development of countries，and countries are also constantly exploring local solutions to internal conflicts in practice. In this context，the concept of “African solutions to African problems” came into being. Influenced by the ideas of Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance，“African solutions to African problems” highlighted Africa’s strong desire to play a leading role in resolving internal conflicts，and its connotation is constantly clarified in practice. Although this concept still faces many challenges at the practical level，with the continuous enrichment of relevant cases，the African continent has shown more and more distinct indigenous propositions in resolving internal conflicts.
