Abstract:In recent years，there have been frequent terrorist attacks，demonstrations，road-blocking and strikes in Iraq. In addition，the geopolitical game and the intervention of regional countries make the reconstruction of the Iraqi order into a dilemma. At the same time，Iraqi political parties are sectarianized and there is insufficient governance capacity for the current government，furtherly weakening the political authority and government legitimacy of Iraq. And the cohesion of Iraqi people is insufficient traditionally. The political structure divided by sects，nationalities and tribes weakens the national identity. The spread of extremism and terrorism also directly affects the reconstruction process in Iraq. Regarding the severe and complicated security situation，CNPC has strengthened the construction and promotion of security management system，enhanced security measures in personnel，physical，technical and information defense，and promoted the early-warning and emergency response capabilities to ensure the safety of employees and stable production.
