文化记忆视域下的柳田国男民俗学

Abstract:Kunio Yanagita is a great thinker. His ideological system is huge and complex. Through the theory of cultural memory，especially the tripartite structure of storage，inheritance and construction，we can clearly grasp the main framework of KunioYanagita’s thought. His early studies on mountain people focused on the storage function and devoted to the writing of non-written memory；Later，the study of common people paid attention to the function of inheritance，which made the “Daily” of common people from obscuration to prominence；KunioYanagita has been committed to upgrading folklore to New National Studies，which embodies the construction function of cultural memory. KunioYanagita is an elite scholar carrying cultural memory. He surpasses a folklore scholar and becomes a great thinker of the times.
