20世纪80年代中日“妇女学/性别研究”本土化的比较考察——以李小江与上野千鹤子的理论实践为线索

Abstract:Rethinking the localization of feminism in the post-globalized era has historical need and significance，which is important for exploring a new expression in the new historic age and condition in the wake of globalization and establishing a localized experience with a unique national spirit and firm confidence in Chinese culture. True cultural awareness and confidence should always be based on studies of local issues and focusing on local academic issues. Inspired by this point of view，the author did comparative research about the localized practice of feminism/gender studies，respectively in China and Japan in the second half of the 20th century，with a focus on two scholars，Ueno Chizuko from Japan and Li Xiaojiang from China. This is an endeavor from the perspective of cultural relativism to make an analysis and probe about the differences and consensus between the two feminist scholars theoretically and practically in their studies on gender issues. As the recipients of Western feminist theory，China and Japan have shown profound differences in the existing Sino-Western/Japanese-American comparative researches，and these have become important discursive resources for the cross-border dialogue between China and Japan. The paper aims to re-examine the differences within the framework of Sino-Japanese comparison，with an attempt to propose a new Eastern Asian perspective on the localization of feminism/gender studies.
