Abstract:Recent years have seen a rapid development of international cooperation on green finance，with increasing financial regulators joining global green finance platforms，a growing number of financial institutions joining international green finance initiatives，and the continued development of relevant global，regional，and bilateral green finance cooperation networks.Under various multilateral cooperation mechanisms，countries worldwide have been working together on green finance topics while innovative bilateral cooperation mechanisms on green finance have emerged. International collaboration on green finance plays a significant role in raising global awareness，closing the financing gaps，and building capabilities. Despite the recent progress，international cooperation on green finance is still facing challenges such as lacking common standards，insufficient support for developing countries，capacity gaps，and global political uncertainties. To advance global green finance and achieve high-quality development，it is essential to leverage international cooperation on green finance in the future. This will require fostering collaboration on developing common green finance standards，pressuring developed nations to fulfill their commitments，conducting academic research，providing technical assistance，etc.
