“一带一路”与全球发展和治理创新

Abstract:The “Belt and Road initiative”（BRI）has not only promoted prosperity for developing countries and regions but also stimulated the potential for global development. Yet BRI has also been facing criticisms from the western media，among which the most important one is that BRI is a tool for China to challenge the post-war international order，or even to “decouple” China from the west. Such perception of BRI ignores its significant contribution to international development，which includes at least the following：to stimulate a globe-wide wave of investment in infrastructure in developing world，provide developing countries more experiences and choices for development，promote the restructuring of the Chinese and world economies，and promote innovation for regional and global governance. A well-balanced analysis and discussion of the relationship between BRI and global order can facilitate cooperation between China and the west on global development and governance innovation so as to help the world better deal with the changing structure of international political economy.
