“多伦多2020”构建多规合一动态治理的城市规划体系

Abstract:By analysing the pipeline of urban space planning，development，and management in the city of Toronto in the past five years，this report summarizes the planning ideas，paths，and management modes of the Toronto pipeline development. We elaborate how the Toronto Official Plan guides urban development expanding to specific target areas，how the Secondary Plan makes detail planning for the urban development and investment，and how the Provincial Growth Plan manages the prediction of the urban population，employment，and housing. Finally，we highlight the emphases and difficulties in Toronto city planning and provide suggestions for improving the city planning system of Chinese large cities.
