Abstract:Based on “Cities Culture Creativity：Leveraging culture and creativity for sustainable urban development and inclusive growth”，published by the UNESCO and the World Bank on May 21，2021，this paper explores the impact of cultural creativity on sustainable urban development. The report not only points out that cities are the center of the cultural and creative economy，but also that cultural and creative ideas can promote urban spatial regeneration，enhance economic development，improve social cohesion and promote sustainable urban development. The report also analyzed the cost of living and working，facilities and services，and diversity as important factors affecting the development of cultural and creative industries. Based on the analysis of the report，the author puts forward some suggestions on how to tap the cultural and creative economic potential of Chinese cities and promote the sustainable development of cities.
