近代以来江苏省沿海港口城镇体系变迁及展望

Abstract:The development of the cities of Jiangsu Province relies on the connection between the sea and rivers，while the rivers play a more important role in the development of ports. The ports are the pivot of economic ties，convergence of marine，land and town cultures. The cities developed eastward with the extending of the coastline toward the sea，which can be divided into different stages. The coastal economic belt is the axis of the land development and industrial layout. The development strategy for the coastal cities is to dock the Yangtze River Economic Belt，and achieve the integrated development. With the implementation of the national development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt，the coordinated development of the rivers and seas will guarantee the optimization of the development of the port cities in Jiangsu.
