Abstract:In recent years，cross-border e-commerce industry in China has developed rapidly，leading the world in terms of transaction scale，growth rate and business model development. Cooperation in the field of e-commerce is becoming an important part of the cooperation with countries along the “Belt and Road”. However，due to the differences in the economic，policy，legal and cultural environment between the countries along the “Belt and Road”，Chinese companies may face risks such as cargo loss caused by lagging logistics and transportation in the process of cross-border e-commerce investment. The capital turnover risk and even capital loss in the payment link，as well as the cultural tolerance and the risk of poor marketing caused by it. We selected the ASEAN region and Russia as cases from the “Belt and Road” co-founding countries，specifically analyzed and looked forward to the security of cross-border e-commerce investment in the region，and finally put forward relevant risk management and control recommendations from the perspective of “The Five Connectivity Program”.
