19、20世纪之交的斯洛伐克现实主义文学

Abstract:At the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries，a strong tide of realist literature entered Slovakia，which was about 50 years later compared with Western popular literary realism. The realist literature during this period fully reflects the awakening of national consciousness and expresses a strong appeal for national liberation and national independence. Slovak realism has experienced two different stages，reappearing the rural life，the living conditions of the people at the bottom，criticizing the ugly and dark social reality，which was influential at that time and also has a great significance in the history of Slovak literature and the history of national development.
