2019～2020年的中国—东盟关系

Abstract:In 2019，China-ASEAN relations have achieved all-round development. The cooperation in politics，diplomacy，security are moving forward steadily，1st reading of South China Sea COC draft was finished ahead of schedule. ASEAN instead of US has become China’s second largest trading partner with the ACFTA Upgrade Protocol into force. Besides，Belt and Road Initiative cooperation has got progress，and the cultural and educational exchanges are further developing in the breadth and the depth. When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in 2020，China and ASEAN have been working together to battle the pandemic and lessen the damage. Furthermore，the two sides should strengthen collaboration and manage the differences on the South China Sea in order to maintain regional peace and stability.
