2020年“世纪协议”与巴以问题前景

Abstract:No substantial progress was made on the Israeli-Palestinian issue in 2019. As the US government recognizes the Golan Heights as Israeli territory，denies that the Jewish settlements in the West Bank violate international law，and promulgates the so-called “New Plan for Middle East Peace” to promote the settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian issue，the Israeli-Palestinian contradictions have further intensified and the conflicts between the two sides have continued to escalate. In early 2020，COVID-19 swept the world，which has prompted the two sides to temporarily shelve contradictions to launch joint prevention operations. This paper reviews the major events in the process of the Israeli-Palestinian issue in the past year，and on this basis analyzes the factors that affect and hinder the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and assesses the prospect of the Israeli-Palestinian issue in 2020.
